In February 2005, the American Bar Association International Law Section approved the Report of the ABA Task Force on Reform of the U.N. Commission on Human Rights. The Report, co-authored by Case Western Reserve University School of Law professor Michael Scharf and American University School of Law professor Paul Williams, recommends sweeping changes in the makeup and operations of the United Nations Commission on Human Rights, the body charged with enforcing human rights among the U.N.'s member nations.
