This is a brochure in which the DFA provides an explanation of the most important terms in the area of the laws of war, otherwise known as international humanitarian law. The DFA provides explanations to terms in this area of law which is based on the Geneva Conventions of 1949, the Additional Protocols of 1977, and the Hague Conventions of 1899 and 1907.
