Presidential Truth Commission on Suspicious Deaths |
| DESCRIPTION: |
The Commission was created by the Special Act to Find the Truth on Suspicious Deaths, which came into effect in 2000. The purpose of the Act is to promote unity and democracy by uncovering the truth about Suspicious Death which occurred during the Democratization Movement against past authoritarian regimes. Although summaries of cases as petitioned to Commissioned are available on the website along with case statistics and instructions on how to report a suspicious death there are no official transcripts or findings.
