The Center for LTA has become has become an internationally recognized forum for the interdisciplinary study of law, technology, and the arts. The center focuses on teaching, research, and programs pertaining to intellectual property, technological innovation, and technology transfer. Our faculty and students work on legal issues concerning biotechnology, information technology, and the creative arts.

Law student Joel Simon has been working with some of Northeast Ohio's most determined entrepreneurs. His recent work is part of an experiential learning opportunity that served as a precursor to an intellectual property law clinic that began in January.

Case Western Reserve University School of Law and Cleveland State University have partnered to create a unique partnership to create a new summer program, "Great Lakes Sports and Entertainment Law Academy," which begins in May 2012.
