Faculty Biography

Mr. Lawry came to our faculty after seven years' practice in Pittsburgh with Eckert, Seamans, Cherin & Mellott. He teaches Professional Responsibility, Criminal Law, Jurisprudence, and directs the Law School's Center for Professional Ethics. In the main, his publications have been in the area of ethics and professional responsibility; his most recent article is titled "Ethics in the Shadow of the Law," and appears at 52 Case Law Review 655 (2002). His essay, "One Tough Guy: Remembering Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.," won First Prize-Faculty in the University's 2001 Martin Luther King, Jr. Essay Contest.
